Introducing Wāhine Who Create, an intimate gathering of like-minded wāhine Māori only in Whangarei this June. Our four amazing kaikōrero have created an experience that will add to your kete of knowledge, so you can empower your creative potential and find fulfillment.

Four workshops will be run throughout the day with morning tea, afternoon tea and drinks provided. Bring a healthy plate to be shared for lunch or alternatively purchase an "I Don't Want to Bring a Plate" ticket.

Workshop 1 with Nga-Atawhainga Creagh: We will explore themes of autonomy and identity in relation to our bodies, our environment, our role as vessels of knowing, and our embodiment of whakapapa as wāhine Māori.

Workshop 2 with Amiria Raumati: A conversation about navigating space that encompasses the arts of healing, rites of passage, the dismantling of a colonial worldview around the whare tangata through the wisdom of the atua wāhine.

Workshop 3 with Tania Rupapera: Creating your Lifestyle through Leadership Coaching. Inspiring confidence & conscious thinking to design the life you want to live. Collaboration, entrepreneurship and global connectivity to open minds and expand opportunities.

Workshop 4 with Moni Barry: How do you capture the essence of an emotion and create an experience through creativity? In this workshop, we begin with a meditation, explore the importance of a daily practice, getting into the flow state and surrounding yourself in a desirable setting for creativity and opening the manawa, the heart.
